You do not need to be enrolled in VA benefits or health care to utilize this service. This website can get you talking to someone at any time and can assist you with scheduling a VA medical service appointment.

The Hope Institute
The Hope Institute is an outpatient facility specializing in short-term crisis intervention. The Hope Institute was created to address the mental health crisis that arrived with COVID-19 with the hope of alleviating the problem of individuals waiting weeks or months for treatment as well as aiding the inpatient individuals stuck in the emergency department for days waiting to be triaged to treatment. Their resource page includes various crisis lines and support resources for those who could use immediate support over text or by phone call.
